Our Story

Twenty years ago I fell in love with Heucheras, selling them on Plant Fairs and Garden shows.
Very soon I wanted to offer better varieties to my clients. So I started breeding Heucheras myself.

First goal was to combine strength, hardiness, vigor and striking colors to
obtain wow-factor plants that are easy to grow.
The first introduction became quick a bestseller: Heuchera ‘Blackout’®️.
Later on followed ‘Binoche’®️, ‘Red Sea’®️ and ‘Black Sea’®️ and the Happy-series

From the same period is Heucherella ‘Art Nouveau’®️. It really has an incredible vigour and cold resistance. It was honored by international juries in France, Germany, Belgium and by the Cornell University.

The next goal was the flowers. I wanted to improve the size and shape of the flowers and make them flower all summer: that's our Flower- series.

Another goal became very fast growing Heucheras with big leaves that provide good groundcover in the garden or make a perfect eyecatcher on patio or terraces. That’s our Dinosaur series.

I believe improvement and developing of new types of Heucheras is still possible.
Having different goals in mind, I will continue to surprise you with Happy Youchera®️ introductions.
